Welcome to Barrington Master Association.

Barrington Master Association is a family-oriented residential community surrounding a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course and country club. It is located in Aurora, OH, a suburb of Cleveland. Our community is 25 miles southeast of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport with convenient access to OH State Route 422 and US Interstate 271, 480, & 80.

Barrington Master Association is a family-oriented residential community surrounding a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course and country club.
The course layout at Barrington Golf Club is one of the best and very friendly to players of all levels.  With vast wide fairways and generous landing areas, you don’t have to be perfect with your tee shot to have an open 2nd shot to the green.  A par 72, Barrington has a great mix of holes that you won’t get tired of playing on a daily basis. The par 3’s require a good tee shot to set yourself up for a par or birdie.  The par 4’s are very fair and have a variety of left to right and right to left doglegs that don’t favor one type of player. Our par 5’s are some of the best around with regards to their layout.  It doesn’t matter if your tee shot is long enough, these holes offer a great deal of risk and reward on your second or third shot. Be careful though, if you take the risk and don’t succeed, a big number on the scorecard awaits you.
The greens are not your average Nicklaus Signature greens, as Jack didn’t build these greens with much angulation as you normally see with his courses.  Even though the putting surfaces are fairly flat, they’re very difficult to read and usually have less break than you initially read. If you factor all this in with normal speeds of 11-12 and perfectly maintained condition, it’s easy to see why Barrington’s greens are continually among the best in the area.

Children in our community attend the Aurora City Schools. The State of Ohio has given the School District a Performance Score of # 13, in the entire State. We have been given the National Blue Ribbon School Award by the U.S. Department of Education. Also Newsweek Magazine as listed the School District among the Nations Top Public High Schools.

The Washington Post ranked the school district # 15 in Ohio and #497 Nationally. US News and World Report ranked it # 13 in Ohio and # 287 Nationally. National AP Honor Roll 4th consecutive year (one of only 3 high schools in Ohio and one of only 477 public schools named nationally) by the College Board. Middle School received a performance index score of # 8 in the State of Ohio by the Ohio Department of Education, ranked # 9 nationally in the 2014 Best Schools website.

#1 Science Score in the State on Ohio Achievement Test (2011,2013) by The Ohio Department of Education, National Blue Ribbon School Award earned in 2013 by the U.S. Department of Education

The Elementary School was awarded a Hall of Fame School and Buckeye Best Gold Award. The Primary Schools were given the Buckeye Best Gold Award.
